In March 2017 I was asked by Voices Magazine in Switzerland to shoot four New York based entrepreneurs.

‘A Sense of Adventure’ was a collaboration between Gieves & Hawkes, Whiteley Neil Gin and Halcyon Magazine.
Using green screen technology, models were transported to far flung corners of the world in a photoshoot, aligning an urbane, adventurous spirit with both brands. The aim was playful high fashion, which was achieved.
I conceived, directed and organised the shoot encompassing casting, prop sourcing and supervision of a photographer Jonathan Dawe.

In 2010, with four business partners, I founded Halcyon Magazine. With ten print issues, an active website and engaged social media, it became a cult publication, distributed throughout the UK and Europe.
Bored with the offering of men’s magazines at the time, we had a very clear aim with our quarterly. Halcyon was created to offer a credible alternative to crass, low-end ‘lads mags’ and ostentatious, out of touch publications. As Content Editor I’d plan, write and edit features, co-manage social media and website, as well as direct graphic design and photoshoots. A bit of everything, really. You can visit Halcyon Magazine’s website here.

In the spring of 2016 I assisted the production of a video promoting The Dry/Clean Initiative.
A partnership between advertising agency Leo Burnett and charity Action Addiciton, The Dry/Clean initiative aims to take unclaimed clothes left in dry cleaners and distribute them to recovering addicts around the UK; the goal to improve employment prospects, making the recovering addicts more presentable in job interviews.
My role on this production was to create a shot list, assist camera, scout locations, direct casting and edit the footage.
